Did you know: The name Big Ben does not actually refer to the famous London Landmark, but is a nickname given to the bell inside, which weighs 13.7 tons! There are four clocks on the tower, one on each side. Smaller bells chime every 15 minutes, marking each 1/4 hour, with Big Ben chiming on the hour & being heard for up to a 5 mile radius.
