Aliaksandra Dzyachenka:

Botanical embroidery designer and the founder of @amity_by & AmityFloralEmbroidery

Aliaksandra Dzyachenka (@amity_by) is a botanical embroidery designer and the founder of AmityFloralEmbroidery, a creative studio known for its realistic floral designs, refined colour palettes, and contemporary approach to hand embroidery.

Her embroidery journey began in 2009 with traditional cross-stitch before evolving into a broader exploration of surface embroidery, botanical illustration, and textile art. Through years of self-directed study and experimentation, she gradually found her own artistic voice in embroidery, combining botanical accuracy with expressive stitchwork and carefully layered textures.

In 2020, during a significant period of personal and creative change, Aliaksandra discovered her passion for botanical embroidery. Inspired by the flowers, forests, and changing seasons surrounding her home in the Czech Republic, she began creating original floral designs that would become the foundation of her recognizable artistic style.

Through AmityFloralEmbroidery, she creates embroidery patterns and educational resources that help stitchers develop their skills while exploring the beauty of botanical embroidery. Every design is developed entirely by Aliaksandra, from the initial concept and botanical drawing to stitch planning, colour development, and final embroidery.

In 2024, she collaborated with Anchor Crafts to create a collection of botanical embroidery kits featuring her original designs and developed additional embroidery projects for the brand’s international community of makers.

In 2025, her work was featured in The Embroidery Sampler Collective (C&T Publishing), an international publication showcasing contemporary embroidery artists and their creative contributions to the craft.

Aliaksandra shares her creative work with a global audience through social media, where her embroidery tutorials, botanical studies, and original designs inspire makers around the world. Her community includes more than 250,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 10,000 subscribers on YouTube, where she shares creative inspiration and insights into her design process.

Today, she continues to create original botanical embroidery collections, drawing inspiration from nature and encouraging embroiderers worldwide to discover creativity, mindfulness, and artistic expression through needle and thread.
