And here it is... Our very last destination of the 2022 Anchor Bird Travellers Stitchalong - The fabulous Rio de Janiero in Brazil ! Did you know: Rio is home to the world's largest urban forest: the Tijuca forest. It spans 32 square kms & is home to 100s of species of plants & animals, as well as 30 waterfalls & the Corcovado mountain. The famous Christ the Redeemer statue stands at its peak, offering incredible views out across Guanabara Bay. We hope you have loved stitching around the world with these 2 adorable little birds as our guide.
