It's time to fly off to our 6th destination in our Anchor Bird Travellers Stitchalong. This month we are off to sunny Portugal and the quaint streets of LISBON! Did you know: The iconic Remodelado trams in the city are an integral part of the public transport network. Many retain their original 1930's features such as polished brass and wood interior, as well as their bright sunshine yellow painted outer. Introducing modern trams was not feasible for such narrow streets & steep gradients, so they were "remodelled" and remain a charming way to explore the historic districts of this beautiful city!
