Anchor Crafty - New Macrame Yarn
We are very happy to add to our portfolio this new macrame yarn! Anchor Crafty is soft and flexible with just the right thickness and will allow you to experiment with different macrame knots to design all kinds of accessories! Thanks to its twisted structure it is easy to work with and gives amazing fringe effects so you can make macrame feathers.
This new 3ply macramé rope is a triple twist cotton cord and comes in a 5mm width, with 40 metres included in each spool. Made from 100% recycled fibres, it is manufactured from waste textile and plastic materials, making it eco-friendly and sustainable.
This rope yarn has been designed with macrame in mind, but can also be used for crochet, knitting and other fibre arts. It can be knitted up or crocheted with 10 to 12mm needles and hooks.
Anchor Crafty is available in a colour palette of 10 beautiful earth tones inspired by the natural world, all created with vegetable based dyes. All shades are available on our online store and at your local retailer.
This fun crafting technique has regained popularity in recent years. It's done by hand - without needles - by weaving cords together to create various textiles. Anchor Crafty is especially well suited to home décor projects like plant hangers, wall hangings, table runners, table mats, coasters, keyrings and other projects, but can also be used for crochet, knitting and other yarn crafts.
With this in mind, we've created 9 new macrame designs to help you get started and all patterns are available for free on our website. Each of these patterns will tell you everything you need to know even as a beginner!
