If you’re casting around for innovative embroidery ideas for Christmas season, you’ll love these patterns by Spanish embroidery enthusiast Aurora-Arorua.

An embroidery hoop can become a base for a cool and very easy to make wreath, that looks both elegant and original. This unique embroidery hoop Christmas wreath features a combination of embroidery stitches and Christmas-inspired shades which work beautifully with any Christmas colour palette. It will certainly look lovely on your front door this holiday season!

Personalised embroidered napkins are enough to brighten up any table and they're also a great conversation starter. With a whimsical leafy motif these napkins are perfect for Christmas dinning and holiday celebrations at the table.

Put your extra embroidery hoops to work this holiday season with these festive Christmas embroidery hoop patterns from German-crafter Anne of Pumora. They are quick to make and will give a colourfully modern look to your Christmas décor.

Change your reds and greens to softer hues or mix and match different fabrics and colours to get the look you want and add a ribbon fun accent. Both patterns are worked with Anchor Stranded Cotton and feature a combination of stitches.

What's better for Christmas than a tree with DIY Christmas ornaments hanging from it? Get in the holiday spirit by crafting yourself a set of Christmas ornaments with these two fun and easy patterns.

Created by Spanish crocheter Leire Villar from Ameskeria, these super fun Christmas baubles are easy and quick to make and will jazz up your old Christmas tree ornaments. The crochet cover sits on top of a store-bought bauble or can be stuffed with filling instead.

All three patterns are worked with Anchor Creativa and Anchor Metallic, in a combination of 6 shades of solid colours and metallics. The patterns are available on our website, complete with colour references and instructions.

For the felt letters and baubles you’ll need just a handful of materials. Using felt, embroidery floss, and an array of beads you’ll get to create a super simple tree ornament, but the shapes and colours will pop on your tree.

Place the letters together to create ornaments that spell holidays words or phrases, display them in windows or hang them on door knobs all through the house. Handmade Christmas ornaments are also great for giving as gifts to loved ones and family!

Handmade postcards are fun to make and a great way to brighten someone's day! Designed by Pumora, these ones are truly one of a kind with beautiful details you can craft yourself.

They are super quick to finish and are worked with fine embroidery thread directly over the postcard. Once you master this technique, you can create whatever patterns you like – the process is the same!

Featuring three Christmassy motives, all patterns are worked with Anchor Stranded Cotton in 6 different shades.

This Christmas project is for all crocheters out there. This beautiful Christmas wreath was designed by Annie Design Crochet whose passion for colour, crochet and nature inspires her beautiful patterns. It features beautiful pink and red flowers and hearts finished with golden metallic yarn and delicate leaves in shades of green and gold.

You can assemble it yourself and play with each element as it pleases you. Also, the colours and shapes that make up this wreath will work year round, and not only for Christmas – win-win situation!

This beautiful pattern is worked with Anchor Creativa Fino and Anchor Metallic.

Our last two crochet projects are just perfect for the season. First, the crochet Christmas Tree Cushion, designed by Scotland-based Italian crafter Samanta Fornino, which is the perfect accent for any seasonal décor. Worked entirely in Anchor Metallic, it is both simple and quick to make while giving a super special touch to your home décor during this time of the year.

Our second and last project of the season, also created by Spanish crocheter Ameskeria, is a fun and elegant Christmas-inspired pouch. Shaped as a present, and crocheted in a simple pattern in tones of red and gold, it is the perfect accessory for any outfit during this festive season. Worked in both Anchor Creativa and Anchor Metallic, it is quick to finish and may just be the right last-minute Christmas project for you!

The Anchor Crafts Team wishes you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year 2020.
