Due to its rounded finish and combination of thread thicknesses, it is frequently used for Hardanger embroidery in many countries, as the thread lies proudly on the fabric surface to create a lovely, uniform finish. Anchor Pearl Cotton is also used for cross stitch in certain countries as well as freestyle embroidery and other counted thread embroidery techniques, it’s also frequently used for crochet. Anchor Pearl Cotton is available in a variety of thicknesses, presented in skeins or balls which suit different usage techniques.
