The landscape design in cross stitch is inspired by modern geometric illustration and impressionist artworks. The elements are clean and modern, but like Van Gogh’s landscapes and Monet’s haystacks, this design is filled with beautiful evening sky colours. The layered mountains are yellow and orange and there are some bright modern florals in the foreground. The colours are semi-abstract and meant to be an impression of the oranges, pinks and teals one sees in a brilliant sunset.
